Digital Solution Architect (Telecom)

Job Summary

The Digital Solution Architect will design comprehensive digital solutions linking customer-facing channels with core telecom systems for both B2C and B2B sectors within the telecommunications industry.

Responsibilities

• Convert business needs into complete digital solution designs for B2C and B2B services.
• Design integrations between digital channels and BSS/OSS platforms.
• Create High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation.
• Work with delivery teams and vendors to ensure solutions match approved designs.
• Review designs to ensure security, performance, and compliance with architecture standards.
• Assist in project estimation and delivery planning.

Must haves

• Over 10 years of experience mainly in telecommunications with progression into Solution Architecture.
• Proven Digital Solution Architecture experience in telecom.
• Experience integrating digital channels like Mobile Applications, Web, Self-Care, and E-Commerce with BSS/OSS.
• Familiarity with at least one major telecom BSS platform such as Oracle, Amdocs, Ericsson, Huawei, or Netcracker.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, Microservices, and Integration Platforms.
• Good understanding of Cloud Architecture concepts.
• Ability to develop HLD and LLD documents.
• Fluency in Arabic and English for business and technical communication.

Nice to haves

• Experience with Oracle Communications BSS.
• Hands-on experience with TM Forum Open APIs and SID Data Model.
• TOGAF certification or similar Enterprise Architecture framework.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer/Software Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
