Senior Sales Engineer

Job Summary

The Senior Sales Engineer will develop and maintain relationships with key utilities and stakeholders, lead sales negotiations, and promote Hitachi Energy’s product portfolio to drive business growth in Riyadh.

Responsibilities

• Establish and nurture relationships with Saudi Energy and its subsidiaries to influence purchasing decisions and lead commercial negotiations.
• Maintain strong connections with utility EPCs, consultants, and decision-makers to support business development and customer satisfaction.
• Promote Hitachi Energy’s full range of products and systems by identifying customer needs and creating value-based solutions aligned with project requirements.
• Develop and implement sales plans, monitor pipeline performance, conduct opportunity reviews, and apply corrective actions to meet targets.
• Ensure proposals comply with technical, financial, and commercial criteria including pricing, payment, delivery, contract compliance, and risk assessment.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to customers covering product features, economic benefits, differentiation, and key values.
• Achieve annual sales budgets and key performance indicators through proactive account management and market development.
• Collaborate with Market Managers and cross-functional teams to execute marketing initiatives and enhance customer engagement.

Requirements

• Electrical Engineering Degree.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in English and Arabic.
• Experience in proposal development, order logging, and risk reviews.
• Good knowledge of Salesforce (SFDC) and other sales tools.
• Familiarity with Hitachi Energy’s portfolio including Transformers, HV Products, and Capacitor Banks.
• Ability to coordinate with factories, market managers, customers, end users, and Product Marketing Team.
