Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Summary

The Quality Assurance Engineer will design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions to ensure product quality, reliability, and performance, focusing on test automation, API validation, and CI/CD integration.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design automation tests based on business requirements and technical documents.
• Create and maintain automated UI test frameworks using Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.
• Identify and prioritize test scenarios for automation.
• Develop automated API test cases to validate backend services and integrations.
• Execute automated test suites in various environments and analyze results to report defects.
• Perform automated regression testing for new releases and bug fixes.
• Support integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and use Git for version control.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams, participating in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 1-4 years of experience in software quality assurance with emphasis on test automation.
• Experience in API testing and automation.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining UI test automation frameworks using Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or similar tools.
• Ability to write clear and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Experience with both white-box and black-box testing.
• Good understanding of manual testing techniques.
