Job Summary
The Website Revamping Consultant will lead the evaluation, vendor selection, implementation oversight, quality assurance, and security validation of a website modernization project, acting as the main advisor and liaison with stakeholders and vendors.
Responsibilities
- Assess the current website’s architecture, content, navigation, UX/UI, accessibility, performance, and mobile responsiveness.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather business, functional, technical, content, and reporting requirements and identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Develop detailed requirements and prepare a Website Assessment and Requirements Report with recommendations.
- Prepare the Request for Commercial Offer (RFCO)/Request for Proposal (RFP) including scope, deliverables, technical and security needs, methodology, evaluation criteria, and acceptance standards.
- Identify and shortlist qualified website development vendors and manage communications during the solicitation process.
- Create an evaluation methodology and scoring matrix to assess proposals from technical, financial, operational, and security perspectives.
- Participate in vendor interviews, presentations, and demonstrations, and prepare comparative analysis and recommendation reports.
- Support vendor onboarding and monitor project progress, risks, quality, and deliverables through all implementation phases including design, development, testing, and deployment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Digital Transformation, or related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in website development, digital transformation, web platform implementation, or IT project management.
- Experience managing website redesign or revamping projects.
- Experience preparing and evaluating RFPs/RFCs and managing vendor selection.
- Strong knowledge of website architecture, CMS, UX/UI, cybersecurity, website security, SEO, accessibility standards, web analytics, and performance optimization.
- Strong project management, analytical, reporting, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple project requirements and stakeholders effectively.
