Technical Site Engineer

Job Summary

A full-time, on-site role responsible for installing, configuring, and testing smart home control systems at customer locations in Amman, Jordan. The Technical Site Engineer diagnoses technical issues, provides on-site support, and ensures systems operate as designed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, configuration, and testing of smart home control systems and hardware at customer sites
• Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting to resolve technical issues on-site
• Provide technical support to ensure systems function as designed
• Collaborate with project teams and communicate with customers to understand requirements
• Document work performed and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Train end users on system operation
• Provide feedback to internal teams for continuous improvement

Requirements

• Strong communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with clients and project teams
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and technical support to diagnose and resolve system issues on-site
• Solid analytical skills to interpret technical data and assess system performance
• Experience with electrical, electronic, or low-current systems, preferably in home automation or control systems
• Fresh graduate or 0–1 year of experience
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and installation manuals
• Comfort working on-site in residential environments, including occasional evening or weekend work
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related technical field is preferred
• Basic knowledge of networking and IoT devices; familiarity with smart home platforms is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in English and Arabic is beneficial; valid driving license and car is a must
