Tax Technology and Transformation – Senior – Jordan

Job Summary

EY MENA’s Tax Technology & Transformation team helps organizations modernize their tax and finance functions through technology, data, analytics, and AI-enabled solutions. In this role, you will support tax transformation engagements, design technology-enabled solutions, and help clients navigate digital tax initiatives including eInvoicing and digital reporting.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements for tax transformation engagements
• Prepare, validate, and reconcile data for tax solutions
• Develop analytics and reporting solutions to support tax processes
• Support implementation and testing activities across tax technology initiatives
• Work with clients to improve tax reporting processes and enable data-driven decision-making
• Support adoption of new technologies including eInvoicing, digital tax reporting, and AI-enabled solutions
• Lead workstreams, manage deliverables, and coordinate testing activities depending on grade and experience
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to client workshops and solution design discussions

Requirements

• Experience in tax technology, tax transformation, tax reporting, finance transformation, data analytics, consulting, or related areas
• Strong data and analytics skills, including experience with SQL and data validation, reconciliation, and reporting activities
• Experience working with analytics and visualization tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms
• Exposure to software implementation lifecycles, including requirements gathering, testing (SIT/UAT), defect management, and documentation
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively with business and technology teams
• Experience with eInvoicing, VAT reporting, or digital indirect tax initiatives
• Exposure to AI/GenAI-enabled solutions, data validation, or technology adoption activities
• Relevant certifications in tax, accounting, data analytics, visualization tools, Agile, testing, or related disciplines
