Systems Designer

Job Summary

The Systems Designer is responsible for overseeing system design from requirements gathering to deployment, assessing new technologies, and ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and high-performing.

Responsibilities

• Create system architecture, technical specifications, and solution designs that align with business needs and technology strategies
• Develop and review detailed technical designs, architecture documentation, and design standards
• Assess system architecture and suggest enhancements for scalability, performance, security, and maintainability
• Lead technical evaluations of products and technologies to aid in technology selection
• Analyze technical requirements for RFIs, RFPs, and solution proposals
• Oversee system implementation and deployment, including configuration, release planning, and version control management
• Conduct system simulations and technical evaluations of Change Requests (CRs)
• Monitor system performance to identify improvements for reliability and operational efficiency

Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience in systems design, systems engineering, software engineering, IT, or related fields
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Practical experience in writing solution designs, architecture documents, or technical specifications
• Strong skills in technical documentation and communication
