Job Summary
An experienced professional responsible for leading ZATCA’s systems and database operations. The role involves developing operational guidelines, overseeing complex technical activities, troubleshooting incidents, and supervising junior staff to ensure optimal system performance and security.
Responsibilities
- Assess current ZATCA systems and database operational models, identify gaps and challenges, and define areas for improvement while staying current with latest trends and standards
- Gather business requirements, oversee database design development, and review and finalize database capacity plans aligned with project objectives
- Perform daily operations of ZATCA systems and databases to maintain optimal operational performance
- Oversee daily work activities of systems and database operations teams and assess feasibility of automation to build scripts for daily operations
- Develop and implement maintenance plans based on technical needs in coordination with relevant stakeholders
- Provide support for escalated problems and assist junior team members to ensure efficient work execution
- Escalate complex problems to appropriate personnel to ensure proper case closure
- Train junior staff on job activities and provide clear direction, task prioritization, and workflow monitoring for subordinates and direct reports
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
- Advanced competency in Database Design and Operations
- Advanced competency in Information Systems Knowledge
- Advanced competency in Infrastructure Management
- Advanced competency in IT Compliance
- Advanced competency in IT Operations Management
- Advanced competency in Solving IT Incidents and Problems
