Job Summary
NahjTech seeks an experienced Submarine Network Engineer to perform commissioning, testing, optimization, and troubleshooting of Nokia and Infinera optical transport and submarine network systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform channel insertion and commissioning on submarine optical networks
- Execute channel optimization using IPM tools and techniques
- Conduct link activation, turn-up, and testing procedures
- Perform link optimization and GSNR testing and analysis
- Configure IPM systems and analyze performance metrics
- Execute network commissioning, acceptance testing, and troubleshooting
- Isolate faults and optimize performance of optical transmission links
Requirements
- Proven experience in submarine optical transmission networks
- Hands-on experience with Nokia and/or Infinera optical transport platforms
- Strong knowledge of DWDM and coherent optical technologies
- Ability to independently perform commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and optimization activities
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required
- Ability to work effectively in remote, multicultural, and cross-functional environments
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for technical discussions, reporting, and client interaction
