Job Summary
Lead technical architecture and standards for the Partnership & Loyalty ecosystem at Equiti, a fintech firm. Own the design of scalable, resilient systems and drive cross-team technical initiatives while mentoring engineers.
Responsibilities
- Define, evolve, and own technical architecture and standards across the Partnership & Loyalty ecosystem
- Lead the design of scalable, resilient, and observable systems
- Drive cross-team and cross-department technical initiatives that span multiple domains
- Establish engineering standards, department-wide service review checklists, and system governance
- Mentor engineers and lead complex technical decision-making
- Optimize performance, scalability, and resilience of real-time systems
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, ideally in fintech or trading platforms
- Strong expertise in backend and distributed systems architecture with deep C#/.NET fluency
- Experience with message-driven and event-driven architectures using Azure Service Bus and Kafka
- Experience with cloud-native and microservices architectures in production trading or financial environments
- Strong knowledge of reliability, observability, and telemetry-driven performance optimization
- Strong performance tuning and low-latency optimization skills
- Proven experience leading large-scale technical and architectural initiatives without a direct reporting line
- Hands-on experience with high-availability, low-latency, distributed cloud-based platforms
