This role involves assisting in software development through coding, testing, and debugging, while collaborating with team members and learning under senior guidance.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing software solutions by writing, testing, and debugging code.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project objectives, following directions from senior staff.
- Engage in training and mentoring programs to develop skills in software engineering.
- Participate in troubleshooting and resolving technical problems with senior engineers’ support.
- Support documentation of software requirements and specifications.
- Help diagnose and resolve production issues with assistance from senior team members.
- Keep updated on new technologies and best practices for professional growth.
- Contribute to team knowledge sharing and learning activities.
Must haves
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent education and experience.
- Typically 3+ years of relevant industry experience, including at least 1 year in a similar role.
- Proficiency in one or more software languages and development methodologies.
- Basic skills in coding and debugging.
- Willingness to learn and gain practical experience.
Nice to haves
- Advanced degree in a related field.
- Relevant certifications or training.
