Job Summary
The Specialist – DevOps Engineer will focus on building and maintaining cloud infrastructure, ensuring system health, and automating tasks primarily on AWS and Kubernetes environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Ensure system availability and health.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Automate 95% of operational tasks.
- Monitor and log cloud infrastructure environments.
- Manage databases and workloads.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Linux systems.
- Proficient in shell scripting.
- Good understanding of networking concepts including DNS, routing, and subnetting.
- At least 4 years of experience with Amazon Web Services.
- Minimum 2 years of Kubernetes experience in production.
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and Helm.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Argo.
- Experience in system administration and infrastructure maintenance.
- Design and maintain logging architectures.
- Use monitoring and alerting tools such as Prometheus.
- Experience with automation/configuration management tools like Ansible or Salt stack.
- Experience working with containers.
- Knowledge of various SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Python or Golang skills are a plus.
