Job Summary

The Specialist-Data Intelligence at Almosafer analyzes comprehensive travel commerce data to produce actionable insights that support business strategy and optimize commercial performance across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Analyze internal datasets including transactional, sourcing, and competitive intelligence to extract meaningful insights.
• Perform detailed and ad-hoc analyses to identify trends and opportunities for revenue and margin enhancement.
• Design and assess test scenarios to validate hypotheses and improve internal systems.
• Convert data findings into clear, actionable business recommendations and communicate them effectively to stakeholders.
• Support the development and refinement of Commercial Data Products by providing insights and validating assumptions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver impactful analytical solutions.
• Create scalable, automated analytics solutions using SQL, Python, and cloud data platforms.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and quality standards while promoting data literacy and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in STEM, Business Analytics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst in e-commerce, online travel, or digital-first businesses.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python or R, and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong background in Commercial, Digital Products, or Data Analytics.
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker for dashboard creation and storytelling.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with fluency in English.
• Experience building and deploying machine learning models for pricing, forecasting, recommendations, or mapping.
• Familiarity with big data warehouses like Google BigQuery, AWS Redshift, or Snowflake.
