Solutions Designer

Job Summary

The Solutions Designer converts business and functional requirements into detailed technical solution designs and implementation-ready specifications. The role bridges business requirements and technical execution by designing application workflows, integrations, APIs, database structures, and technical components while ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with architectural standards.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and functional requirements and transform them into technical solution designs, including application modules, workflows, integrations, APIs, and database structures.
• Prepare implementation-ready technical specifications, flowcharts, sequence diagrams, and system design documents aligned with approved architecture standards.
• Ensure technical solutions address non-functional requirements including security, scalability, performance, availability, maintainability, usability, and reliability.
• Produce clear, structured technical documentation including APIs, workflows, business rules, data mapping, validation logic, and integration specifications.
• Support development teams during implementation by providing technical clarifications, assisting with understanding business rules and workflows, and helping identify edge cases and gaps.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, QA, DevOps, and Solution Architects throughout requirement gathering, technical planning, and implementation phases.
• Identify technical risks, bottlenecks, and dependency impacts early during design phases and ensure APIs and integrations are resilient and secure.
• Contribute to reusable technical design patterns, templates, and standards while recommending optimization opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in software development, system analysis, technical design, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience in designing APIs, database models, workflows, integrations, and enterprise applications.
• Good understanding of software architecture concepts and design principles.
• Familiarity with web applications, mobile applications, distributed systems, and integration patterns.
• Ability to create professional technical documentation and diagrams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
• Good communication skills in both Arabic and English.
• Experience with Microsoft technologies, SQL Server, REST APIs, and modern application architectures is preferred.
