Software Engineer (Typescript+NestJs +Next Js )

Job Summary

This full-time, on-site Software Engineer position in Amman, Jordan involves developing and maintaining GoldenTik’s marketplace platform using TypeScript, NestJS, and Next.js. The role includes designing back-end APIs, integrating front-end components, and ensuring platform performance and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize back-end APIs and services.
• Integrate back-end services with front-end components.
• Write clean and testable code.
• Participate in code reviews and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with product, design, and QA teams.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and improve development workflows.
• Implement best practices in security, data handling, and cloud deployments.

Requirements

• Strong foundation in Computer Science including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Proficiency in Back-End Web Development using TypeScript and NestJS, with experience building RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
• Experience in software development and programming for production systems, preferably in e-commerce or SaaS.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and clean code practices.
• Practical experience with Next.js, React, and modern front-end workflows.
• Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases, caching, and performance optimization.
• Experience with Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization such as Docker.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams with clear communication and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with marketplace, multi-vendor platforms, or fintech/payment integrations is an advantage.
