Qashio is hiring a Software Engineer – Ruby on Rails to join a dynamic team and play a key role in supporting clients with technical issues. The role involves responding to technical questions, handling incidents as they arise, and delivering high-quality support to ensure a seamless experience with the company’s software products.

Responsibilities for Software Engineer – Ruby on Rails

• This role is Level 2 support – handling complex technical issues.
• Must have a deep understanding of the software’s architecture and code to identify and fix intricate problems.
• Provide immediate hotfixes and long term improvements for customer-facing defects.
• Analyse software code to identify potential issues or areas for improvement.
• Communicate with the customer success team about complex technical issues in a clear and understandable manner.
• Ensure that customer issues are resolved in a timely manner and meet high-quality standards.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in technologies/languages including Ruby On Rails, SQL, Kafka Streaming and basic AWS services is a must.
• NodeJS/NestJS/TypeScript – nice to have.
• Problem-solving mindset and critical thinking.
