Job Summary
This role involves developing fintech payment solutions using Python, focusing on integrating payment providers, analyzing transactions, and supporting payment-related products.
Responsibilities
- Integrate payment providers and fintech solutions via APIs
- Troubleshoot issues related to payments
- Analyze transaction flows and reconciliation processes
- Collaborate with multiple teams including Product, Engineering, Operations, Compliance, and Finance on payment projects
- Create reports and dashboards from payment and transaction data
- Support evaluation and onboarding of new payment methods and partners
Must haves
- 1-4 years experience in fintech, payments, or related areas
- Experience with REST APIs and JSON data
- Proficiency in SQL
- Experience with Python frameworks such as Flask or Django
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work with technical and business teams
Nice to haves
- Knowledge of PCI-DSS, Open Banking, or payments regulations
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Understanding of payment fraud prevention and risk management
- Experience with ETL processes, data pipelines, or workflow automation
