Job Summary
CFI Financial Group is seeking a Senior Back-end Developer with Python expertise to develop features and products for the online trading industry. You will collaborate with team members to build solutions that meet business requirements and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to develop features and new products
- Develop solutions according to specified business requirements
- Define and write technical specifications including appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards
- Demonstrate and present implementations to team leaders and CTO
- Implement unit and integration tests
- Ensure software meets requirements for quality, security, modifiability and extensibility
- Participate in code reviews to identify anti-patterns and refactoring opportunities
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- BSc in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in software development and coding in Python
- Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture
- Technical mindset with strong attention to detail
- Understanding of software quality assurance principles
- Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes
- Experience with service-oriented architecture (SOA)
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience with RabbitMQ, Kafka or similar messaging systems
- Experience developing microservices and managing containerized applications
- Experience building websockets
- Experience with Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Helm
- Proficiency with version control and continuous integration tools such as Git and Jenkins
- Understanding of web security standards and best practices
- PHP experience is considered an advantage
