Job Summary

As a Software Engineer II with QuantumBlack, AI by McKinsey in Riyadh, you will drive architectural design and technology decisions for next-generation products, working across multiple sectors to help clients leverage technology at scale.

Responsibilities

• Drive architectural design and make strategic technology decisions for client products and internal initiatives
• Lead project workstreams and help clients build technical capabilities and foster engineering best practices
• Employ agile methodologies to build and deliver products at scale
• Co-create solutions alongside clients and their leadership to enable technology transformation
• Lead and coach Agile teams through sprint ceremonies, work definition, and developer capability building
• Work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to model engineering best practices including design patterns, test-driven development, code review, and security awareness
• Mentor team members and help them grow in their technical and professional development
• Travel to client sites as needed to support project delivery

Requirements

• Undergraduate or master’s degree, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of software development experience with significant full-stack web application development experience
• Hands-on experience across the full application stack with languages and frameworks including JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, Vue, jQuery, Java, Spring, C#, .NET, Node.js, SQL, MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, cloud-native databases, AWS, Azure, GCP, Jenkins, Docker, Circle CI, or Travis
• Experience leading in Agile teams, including coaching and modeling Agile mindsets
• Experience working collaboratively with technical and non-technical team members on engineering best practices such as design patterns, customer-centric design, test-driven development, code refactoring, code review, and OWASP Top 10 security awareness
