Site Civil Engineer

Job Summary

The Site Civil Engineer is responsible for managing and supervising civil construction activities on residential and commercial projects in Amman, Jordan. The role ensures proper implementation of designs, monitors progress, and maintains compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site activities and ensure correct execution of designs and plans.
• Monitor work progress and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and local regulations.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, contractors, and engineers to resolve technical issues.
• Optimize construction methods and manage resources efficiently.
• Review drawings and specifications and prepare site reports.
• Track quantities and materials used on site.
• Provide technical guidance to site teams.
• Conduct inspections, support testing procedures, and assist in planning and scheduling to keep projects on track.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of practical experience in construction project execution.
• Experience managing full execution cycles including structural, architectural, and finishing works.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and monitor their implementation.
• Good knowledge of MEP works and coordination with relevant parties.
• Proficiency in engineering software and computer applications related to site operations.
• Strong leadership skills to manage site activities and resolve on-site issues.
• Availability to join immediately.
