Service Engineer

Job Summary

The Service Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Amman responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment across laboratory, medical, and healthcare facilities. The role ensures systems operate safely and efficiently through regular inspections, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and field service visits.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair equipment in laboratory, medical, and healthcare facilities
• Conduct regular inspections and diagnose technical issues
• Perform troubleshooting and provide field service visits to customer locations
• Deliver technical support and document service activities
• Coordinate with internal teams and communicate with customers about service plans and outcomes
• Support continuous improvement of service processes
• Contribute to high-quality after-sales service delivery

Requirements

• Strong troubleshooting and technical support skills to diagnose and resolve equipment issues
• Field service experience including on-site visits, installation, and commissioning of technical equipment
• Maintenance and repair skills to perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs
• Solid communication skills to interact clearly and professionally with customers and internal teams
• Relevant technical diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering, electronics, biomedical engineering, or a related field
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics, and use diagnostic tools and test equipment
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple service requests
• Willingness to travel locally for service visits and work in clinical and laboratory environments
• Previous experience in laboratory, medical, or healthcare equipment service is an advantage
