Job Summary
Advanced Business Solutions seeks a Senior System Administrator to provide expert support for production and business-critical environments, including SAP, HANA, SQL databases, and infrastructure troubleshooting, while mentoring junior team members and driving IT process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert support for SAP and HANA troubleshooting and ticket resolution
- Troubleshoot SQL and HANA databases, including performance optimization and backups
- Diagnose and resolve advanced network and infrastructure issues
- Prepare data and technical information for internal and external security audits and implement remediation actions
- Mentor and support Officers and Associates in daily tasks
- Develop and maintain system documentation, best practices, and IT knowledge base
- Coordinate with vendors for escalated issues
- Participate in IT process improvement, project planning, and implementation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, or related field
- 5–7 years of experience in System Administration
- Strong experience managing production environments
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to troubleshoot independently before escalating
- High level of ownership, responsibility, and accountability for assigned tasks
- Understanding of upgrade and migration processes and concepts
- Proactive in identifying risks and infrastructure improvement opportunities
- CCNA, ITIL, or SLES Linux certifications considered a plus
