Job Summary
IQVIA is seeking a Senior Software QA Engineer to design, maintain and execute manual and automated test cases for web applications, including UI and REST APIs. The role involves developing automated tests using industry-standard frameworks and conducting non-functional testing.
Responsibilities
- Design, maintain and execute manual and automated test cases for sanity, regression testing and end-to-end tests for web applications (UI and REST APIs)
- Develop automated tests using industry-standard testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium Webdriver, TestNG, Junit and RestAssured
- Report bugs and verify their resolution
- Analyze and report on regression test runs
- Design, maintain and execute non-functional tests using JMeter
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent
- 7+ years of industry experience testing distributed systems and SaaS software
- Experience testing Web Services or REST APIs using code or tools like SoapUI/Postman
- Proven automation and scripting experience using Java, including Selenium, TestNG, Junit and RestAssured
- Experience with code management and version control software such as Git, GitLab or Bitbucket
- Solid knowledge of SQL using Oracle or MS-SQL, and solid knowledge of MongoDB
- HL7 FHIR conformance testing experience is a strong plus
- Experience with Performance and Scale testing tools such as JMeter is a strong plus
