Senior Sales Account Manager

Job Summary

The Senior Sales Account Manager manages a portfolio of accounts and promotes the company’s products and services through account management strategies and customer partnerships. The role focuses on optimizing sales volumes and implementing marketing programs aligned with the Territory Sales Manager.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute account strategies and roadmaps for the assigned portfolio in coordination with the management team
• Create accurate sales forecasts and targets aligned with business objectives
• Manage vendor relationships in line with company strategy and direction
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing channels and clients to expand sales opportunities
• Maintain a customer database, analyze data and develop metrics to evaluate loyalty and identify new opportunities
• Conduct market research through visits to existing and potential customers to identify market requirements
• Oversee the complete sales cycle from quotation through collection
• Implement targeted marketing programs and monitor progress with recommendations for improvement

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science or relevant field
• At least 7 years of relevant experience in Data Center Passive Infrastructure Business (Power Cooling, etc.)
• Ability to assess credit and payment performance and manage outstanding settlements
• Experience with inventory management and stock control systems
• Proficiency with salesforce.com CRM for leads, opportunity and deal registration management
• Capability to evaluate business processes and implement efficiency improvements
• Strong channel partner engagement and customer support skills
