Majid Al Futtaim Holding is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join the Customer Solutions Digital Platforms team within the Technology division in Jordan.

Role Summary

The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer plays a critical role in delivering high-quality digital products that provide intuitive and engaging customer experiences. The role is responsible for defining, executing and continuously improving testing strategies across web, mobile and API platforms. Working closely with product, design and engineering teams, this role ensures defects are identified early and quality is embedded throughout the development lifecycle.

ROLE PROFILE

• Defines and executes manual and automated test strategies across web, mobile and API platforms
• Reviews requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure testability and coverage
• Performs functional, regression, integration, exploratory and end-to-end testing
• Designs, automates and maintains test cases using tools such as Cypress or Katalon Studio
• Identifies, logs, tracks and validates defects using Jira and related QA tools
• Collaborates with developers, product owners and designers to embed quality into delivery
• Supports CI/CD pipelines and release cycles through test readiness and quality gates
• Drives continuous improvement in QA processes, tools and best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manual and automation testing for web and mobile applications
• Strong hands-on experience with Cypress or Katalon Studio and RESTful API testing
• Solid understanding of authentication, SSO mechanisms and Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience using Jira, Postman, Swagger and test automation frameworks
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
• English proficiency required; Arabic is an advantage
