Senior QA Engineer

Job Summary

The Senior QA Engineer at Aumet inc is responsible for creating and maintaining automated testing frameworks for mobile and web applications to ensure high product quality and faster releases.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile platforms.
• Develop and improve test automation frameworks to enhance efficiency and coverage.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and API testing.
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and QA team members to detect and fix defects.
• Integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.
• Analyze test failures, document bugs, and monitor their resolution.
• Maintain test plans, test cases, and related documentation.
• Identify ways to minimize manual testing and improve release quality.

Must haves

• 3–5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, Test Automation, or Software Testing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Practical experience in developing and maintaining automated test frameworks.
• Proficiency with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium.
• Experience using API testing tools like Postman or equivalents.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and defect-tracking tools.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills and teamwork capability within engineering teams.

Nice to haves

• ISTQB Foundation Level (CTFL), ISTQB Test Automation Engineer, or equivalent certification.
• Experience testing both web and mobile applications.
• Knowledge of performance and non-functional testing.
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD workflows.
