Senior Product Applications Engineer II

Job Summary

This role serves as the regional technical authority for AI and HPC infrastructure, focusing on advanced liquid cooling technologies for hyperscale, enterprise AI, and HPC deployments. It involves leading technical strategy, solution architecture, customer engagement, and ecosystem development.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical development and act as regional authority for AI-ready data center infrastructure and liquid cooling in high-density AI/HPC projects.
• Define and deploy reference architectures and best practices, establish technical governance, and support executive leadership on technology strategy.
• Provide expertise in Direct-to-Chip, Rear Door Heat Exchangers, Immersion Cooling, TCS and Secondary Network Heat loops, CDU architecture, and facility heat exchanger design.
• Optimize thermal management including glycol/water loop engineering, hydraulic balancing, pumping systems, and facility hydraulic integration.
• Lead AI infrastructure design including AI Pods, GPU clusters, NVIDIA HGX/MGX, NVL platforms, and high-density white space architectures.
• Support sales and business development teams, enable presales, influence consultants and contractors, and lead specification development and design validation.
• Manage the full technical tendering process including qualification, risk assessment, design optimization, value engineering, and bid defense through to award.
• Build trusted relationships with hyperscalers, enterprise customers, consultants, EPCs, and partners; represent the company at workshops, conferences, and forums.

Requirements

• 12–15+ years of experience in mission-critical data center infrastructure.
• Minimum 7 years dedicated to high-density cooling technologies.
• Proven expertise in AI/HPC infrastructure projects and liquid cooling architecture and deployment.
• Extensive experience leading technical tendering and value engineering processes.
• Strong customer-facing experience with hyperscalers, enterprise accounts, EPCs, and consulting firms.
• Recognized as a technical authority in AI cooling technologies and capable of mentoring presales and engineering teams.
• Ability to deliver regional AI/liquid cooling technical strategy, standardized reference architectures, and technical enablement plans.
