Senior Plant Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary

Dar Al Dawa is seeking a Senior Plant Maintenance Engineer to join the Engineering & Projects Department. The role involves managing preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities for production machinery, coordinating with multiple departments, and providing technical guidance to optimize equipment performance.

Responsibilities

• Execute preventive maintenance activities for production machinery according to the approved monthly schedule.
• Perform corrective and predictive maintenance activities with accuracy and efficiency.
• Identify required spare parts and maintenance supplies, coordinating procurement with the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Provide technical advice to the Production Department on optimal machinery use to improve efficiency and reduce breakdowns.
• Participate in installation, commissioning, and periodic maintenance of new equipment.
• Coordinate with Production and Projects departments on machinery operation and maintenance matters.
• Support maintenance engineers and technicians in completing maintenance activities.
• Communicate with suppliers and technical workshops regarding spare parts and machinery maintenance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum of three years of relevant experience in industrial or plant maintenance.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical manufacturing and regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of general maintenance practices and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in both field and office environments.
