Senior PHP Laravel Developer

Job Summary

The PHP Laravel Developer will design, implement, and maintain back-end solutions for web-based platforms and mobile applications. You will develop APIs, manage data flows, and collaborate with front-end teams to ensure seamless integration and high-performing applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and maintain advanced web-based applications and backend systems
• Build secure and scalable solutions in collaboration with UX and front-end teams
• Prepare, integrate, and maintain APIs and ensure effective communication between systems
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for speed, security, and scalability
• Test and maintain core product software and databases to ensure optimization and reliability
• Collaborate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code following best practices
• Contribute to process improvements and advocate for best coding standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, coding bootcamp, or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a PHP Laravel developer
• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and software design principles
• Proficiency in building and consuming RESTful APIs
• Strong experience with relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL)
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Practical knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, Node.js, and jQuery
• Experience with unit testing
• Strong analytical, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of MetaTrader 4/5 platforms and APIs is a plus
