Job Summary
Manage and administer the OpenText Liferay Platform, including installation, configuration, and deployment of applications. Design and develop Java-based applications with high-quality code that meets project specifications and collaborate with internal teams to implement solutions.
Responsibilities
- Manage OpenText Liferay Platform and its components at an administrative level
- Install CARS, OTDS and Liferay Platform, and perform system configuration
- Execute backup and restore operations on Liferay Platform
- Create users, assign roles and teams, and manage identity packages
- Implement and test web services and SOA grid in Liferay Platform
- Design, create and implement Java-based applications with testable and scalable code
- Deploy applications to Liferay Platform and provide end-user support
- Investigate logs, troubleshoot business processes and resolve application issues
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
- 5 to 8 years of experience in Java-based programming
- Certification in coding (preferred)
