Senior IBM BAW / BPM Developer

Job Summary

KalSoft seeks an experienced Senior IBM BAW / BPM Developer to design, develop, integrate, and support business process automation solutions for banking and financial services operations. The role focuses on creating workflow solutions for banking processes such as loan origination, account opening, trade finance, and customer onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop business process workflows using IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW) for banking operations including loan origination, account opening, trade finance, and customer onboarding
• Collaborate with business teams and stakeholders to understand banking process requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Integrate IBM BAW solutions with core banking platforms and other financial systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, optimize system performance, and maintain existing workflow applications
• Participate in the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for workflow applications and solutions
• Ensure developed solutions comply with business requirements, technical standards, security practices, and banking regulations

Must haves

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW) / IBM BPM
• Proven experience working on projects in the banking or financial services sector
• Strong understanding and practical experience with Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN)
• Strong experience with Java, JavaScript, REST, and SOAP web services
• Good understanding of database concepts and SQL
• Proven experience working on projects in Saudi Arabia
• Knowledge of SAMA regulations and relevant banking compliance and regulatory requirements
• Strong understanding of secure coding practices and data protection requirements
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English

Nice to haves

• Experience with Appian BPM platform
• Experience with CI/CD tools and automated deployment pipelines
• Experience working in Agile environments, including Scrum or Kanban
• Knowledge of integration patterns and enterprise application integration
