Senior IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) / IIB Integration Developer – Banking

Job Summary

This role focuses on delivering enterprise integration solutions within banking environments using IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) and IBM Integration Bus (IIB). The developer will design, deploy, and support middleware integrations connecting banking platforms, applications, and data systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain integration solutions using IBM ACE / IIB.
• Create and support complex message flows with ESQL, Java, and graphical mapping.
• Implement integrations using IBM MQ, REST, SOAP, APIs, JMS, and file interfaces.
• Perform data transformation and mapping with XML, JSON, and other formats.
• Integrate core banking applications, databases, APIs, and enterprise systems.
• Manage IBM MQ queues, channels, Dead Letter Queues (DLQs), and messaging configurations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration and production issues.
• Collaborate with architects, application teams, infrastructure, security, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• 10+ years of IT experience with strong expertise in IBM ACE or IBM Integration Bus (IIB).
• Experience in production support for IBM ACE or IIB, including troubleshooting, deployments, releases, and monitoring.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for integration issues.
• Strong knowledge of IBM MQ components such as queues, channels, and Dead Letter Queues (DLQs).
• Hands-on experience building message flows using ESQL, REST, SOAP, JMS, and API integrations.
• Proficiency in XML and JSON for message transformation and mapping.
• Background in banking or financial services integration, including core banking systems and payment platforms.
• Experience with end-to-end banking integration patterns and production support.
• Familiarity with incident management, SLA, and change management processes.
• Proven collaboration skills with architects, development, infrastructure, security, and network teams.
