Senior Field Technical Engineer

Job Summary

The Senior Field Technical Engineer supports clinical and sales activities within Abbott’s Electrophysiology division in Riyadh, focusing on device and equipment assistance in the EP Lab and regional business management.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical support during cases in the EP Lab, assisting customers and prospects with devices and equipment.
• Deliver educational and on-site clinical training to physicians and medical personnel.
• Demonstrate, set up, test, and service company products related to arrhythmia diagnosis and treatment.
• Manage the EP business in a specific region, tracking revenue targets and financial metrics per account.
• Monitor inventory and handle logistical tasks aligned with company strategies.
• Support product launches, education, and team certification efforts.
• Supervise full-time employees and oversee their assigned tasks.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with physicians and EP Lab staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in medical sciences.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Working knowledge of business concepts, procedures, and practices.
• Ability to work in a quality system environment compliant with governmental regulations.
• General knowledge of technical alternatives and their impact on systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, discipline, flexibility, and teamwork.
• Languages: English and Arabic.
