Job Summary
Walter P Moore is seeking a Structural Senior Engineer for its Riyadh office to perform structural design and analysis work on concrete, steel, and miscellaneous structures, including creating analysis models, managing construction administration tasks, and preparing technical deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Perform structural computations in the design and analysis of concrete, steel, and other miscellaneous structures
- Create analysis models and interpret results for 2D and 3D structural frames
- Assist with construction administrative tasks, including site visits and shop drawing review
- Understand load paths for gravity and lateral loads and calculate applicable loads based on building codes
- Assist with design drawings, quantities, cost estimates, specifications, reports, and other project deliverables
- Prepare technical studies and reports
- Work closely with a team of Structural Engineers and Project Managers in a collaborative environment
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural Engineering
- 5 to 9 years of experience
- Member of SCE (Saudi Council of Engineer’s) with grade “Engineer”
- Saudi National
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Experience with Revit, Rhino, or Grasshopper is a plus
- Willingness to work in a team environment and follow established standards
- Client-focused attitude
