Senior Engineer – Building Technology Systems

Job Summary

WSP in the Middle East seeks a Senior/Principal Engineer (ICT & Security) to serve as Acting BTS Lead, overseeing the end-to-end design, development, and implementation of ICT and security systems for mega-scale projects in the region.

Responsibilities

• Act as BTS Lead overseeing complete design, development, and implementation of ICT and security systems for mega-scale projects
• Lead and review technical design of ICT and security infrastructure, ensuring compliance with global and local standards including BICSI, TIA, and MOI
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and design assurance to multidisciplinary teams
• Manage integration of ICT and security systems across complex project environments
• Coordinate and manage multiple stakeholders including clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure alignment and smooth project delivery
• Ensure project delivery, technical compliance, and high-quality documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, ICT, Systems Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 10 years of proven experience in ICT and security engineering with a track record of successfully leading large-scale or complex projects
• Strong background in ICT and security systems with proven experience on mega-scale projects in the region
• Leadership capabilities to guide teams, manage stakeholders, and deliver in challenging project conditions
• BICSI certification preferred
• Additional ICT/Security-design related professional certificates are an advantage
