Senior Electrical Engineer

Job Summary

The Senior Electrical Engineer will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of electrical systems for industrial operations in Riyadh. This role involves managing a team, ensuring safety and efficiency, and collaborating across departments to deliver technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement electrical systems including power distribution, backup power, and control systems aligned with operational needs.
• Analyze electrical system performance and conduct root cause investigations to reduce downtime.
• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment ensuring compliance with Saudi and international standards.
• Manage maintenance programs to enhance reliability and performance of electrical systems.
• Lead and mentor electrical technicians and junior engineers, providing technical guidance and development.
• Maintain detailed electrical documentation such as diagrams, schematics, procedures, and specifications.
• Perform electrical safety audits and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to deliver capital projects on time and within budget.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience as an electrical engineer.
• Expertise in electrical system design, power distribution networks, and industrial control systems.
• Proficiency with electrical design software like AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar tools.
• Experience with SCADA systems, PLC programming, and industrial automation.
• Project management skills including planning, budgeting, and execution of electrical projects.
• Leadership experience managing and mentoring technical teams.
• Knowledge of electrical safety standards, IEC codes, and Saudi Arabian regulations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and create complex electrical drawings and technical specifications.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
• Electrical safety certifications such as OSHA or IEC standards are highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Middle Eastern industrial operations and regional electrical standards is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-department collaboration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
• Adaptability to changing priorities and operational demands.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on industry innovations.
