Senior Dry Utilities Engineer

Job Summary

ARX is seeking a Senior Dry Utilities Engineer for its Riyadh office to design, plan, and oversee dry utility systems including power, telecommunications, and street lighting for infrastructure projects. The role involves engineering calculations, compliance verification, and coordination across project disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and oversee the design of dry utility systems for infrastructure projects
• Perform and review engineering calculations, network design, cable sizing, and engineering analyses for dry utility systems
• Ensure dry utilities designs comply with local regulations, standards, and best practices
• Coordinate with project managers and other engineering disciplines to integrate dry utility systems into overall project designs
• Coordinate utility corridors, crossings, connections, diversions, and interfaces with other infrastructure disciplines
• Prepare detailed engineering reports, plans, and documentation
• Review designs and technical deliverables prepared by engineers, designers, and BIM/CAD teams
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and team members

Must haves

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field
• Minimum 8 years of experience in infrastructure projects with focus on dry utilities
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in KSA
• Strong knowledge of dry utility systems, including design and construction practices
• Strong knowledge of relevant KSA codes, standards, and utility authority requirements
• Proficiency in Civil 3D and relevant electrical design software

Nice to haves

• Proficiency in Arabic
