D&T Sr Developer – Marketing & Global Commercial

Job Summary

Senior developer role focused on building and maintaining web applications and backend services using .NET Framework, .NET Core, and React.js. Responsibilities include software development, application support, database integration, and adherence to engineering best practices within a cross-functional team environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain web applications and backend services using .NET Framework and .NET Core
• Build and maintain responsive user interface components using JavaScript and React.js
• Design, develop, and consume REST APIs and contribute to microservices-based solutions
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues across web applications and APIs
• Support legacy .NET Framework applications while contributing to modernization initiatives using .NET Core and React.js
• Use SQL for data querying, validation, and troubleshooting
• Use Git for source control and follow team branching and code review practices
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, Security, Product, and Business teams to deliver reliable solutions

Must haves

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
• 2-3 years of professional software development experience
• Good hands-on knowledge of .NET Framework and .NET Core / modern .NET
• Good knowledge of JavaScript and React.js for frontend development
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs and working with JSON
• Familiarity with Git and standard software development lifecycle practices

Nice to haves

• Familiarity with Docker or containerized applications
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Knowledge of unit testing and automated testing practices
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery teams and enterprise application environments
