Job Summary
EY is seeking a Senior Consultant to lead IT and cybersecurity projects across the MENA region. The role involves executing technology risk engagements with minimal supervision, delivering quality reports to clients, and supporting business development activities.
Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver technology risk engagements with minimal supervision
- Execute IT and cybersecurity projects across multiple industries
- Support executives in developing proposals, presentations, and business development activities
- Ensure delivery and quality of final reports to clients
- Conduct IT systems audits and risk assessments
- Evaluate complex IT environments and identify control weaknesses
- Provide IT expertise in internal controls over financial reporting and SOX requirements
- Contribute to cybersecurity discussions and assessments
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in IT audit, information security, or related fields
- Proven track record of successful engagement delivery in Technology Risk
- Expertise in Risk and Governance Frameworks including COBIT, ITIL, NIST, and ISO 27001 standards
- Proficiency in IT Systems Audit planning, execution, and audit methodologies
- Comprehensive knowledge of internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR), ITGCs, ITACs, and SOX requirements
- Understanding of application systems such as SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft Dynamics
- Strong understanding of Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and disaster recovery principles
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, threats, and vulnerabilities
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, project management, and leadership skills
- Big 4 background or comparable consulting experience is highly advantageous
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor are preferred
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
