Senior Civil Engineer (Infrastructure)

Job Summary

The Senior Civil Engineer (Infrastructure) role in Riyadh involves leading the planning, design, and execution of large infrastructure projects, collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of infrastructure projects including feasibility, design, tender, and construction support.
• Serve as Project Manager and Design Lead for complex multidisciplinary infrastructure schemes.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and quality delivery.
• Coordinate with clients, government bodies, statutory authorities, and external design partners.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Building Code, local regulations, and international standards.
• Lead design and technical review of water, wastewater, stormwater, and transportation infrastructure systems.
• Prepare and review technical reports, calculations, specifications, and construction documents.
• Utilize Civil 3D and other advanced digital design and modeling tools.

Must haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Chartered Engineer (SCE) certification.
• 10-15 years of experience in civil engineering design and infrastructure project delivery.
• Proven management of large-scale infrastructure projects from start to finish.
• Expertise in water distribution, wastewater, stormwater management, and transportation network design.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
• Proficiency with Civil 3D and other digital design software.
• Strong project management skills including budget, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Knowledge of Saudi Building Code, local regulations, and approval processes or willingness to learn quickly.
• Valid driver’s license and readiness to travel to project sites.

Nice to haves

• Experience with infrastructure projects in the Middle East or similar arid climates.
• Familiarity with sustainable infrastructure design and green engineering.
• Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and integrated project delivery.
• Professional background in consulting or engineering firms.
• Arabic language proficiency.
