Job Summary

The Senior in Assurance Operations Support at Deloitte is responsible for managing daily operational tasks, improving processes, and supporting leadership with data-driven insights and reporting to enhance audit efficiency and quality.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operational activities and assist in prioritizing business needs.
• Identify and implement improvements in operational processes and efficiency.
• Prepare regular and ad hoc reports, presentations, and materials for leadership and stakeholders.
• Analyze business and operational data to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
• Review data accuracy, trends, and performance indicators, highlighting areas for improvement.
• Create dashboards and reporting tools to monitor key business metrics.
• Translate data analysis into clear presentations for meetings and executive discussions.
• Collaborate proactively with stakeholders to resolve operational challenges and suggest solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, and dashboard development, preferably at a Big Four firm.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret data and recommend actions.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for preparing high-quality reports and presentations.
• Experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is preferred.
• Ability to manage and review data accurately, identify trends, and support performance analysis.
• Self-driven and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, confident in engaging senior leadership.
• Capability to balance operational support with continuous improvement and strategic thinking.
• Knowledge of applying AI in audit contexts, including prompt engineering and professional scepticism towards AI outputs.
• Understanding of responsible AI use in professional services, including governance, confidentiality, and use of firm-approved AI tools.
