Sales Analyst

Job Summary

The Sales Analyst role supports commercial decision-making by providing data-driven insights and analysis. This position involves monitoring sales performance, pricing, pipeline, backlog, inventory, and market trends while collaborating with multiple teams to identify growth and profitability opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Track and analyze sales performance, pricing, pipeline, backlog, inventory, and market trends.
• Create and update reports, dashboards, and performance tracking tools to deliver timely business insights.
• Identify trends, opportunities, risks, and improvement areas through sales data analysis.
• Assist in developing sales and pricing strategies aligned with business and financial goals.
• Collaborate with Sales leadership and cross-functional teams to enhance sales growth and profitability.
• Analyze distributor and retailer inventory data to aid demand planning and forecasting.
• Examine customer behavior, product mix, sales channels, and commercial performance for actionable insights.
• Provide recommendations on pricing structures to support sales and profitability objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or related field.
• Less than 3 years of experience in sales analytics, business analytics, financial analytics, commercial analytics, or related areas.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of Power BI or other Business Intelligence tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to translate data into clear business insights and recommendations.
• Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work well with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with change management or cross-functional projects is advantageous.
