Reporting Insights Analyst – Agentic AI, Tableau, Semantic Models

Job Summary

The Reporting Insights Analyst enables data-driven decision-making across Network Operations by delivering actionable insights, reporting solutions, and analytical frameworks. The role develops dashboards, reports, and performance metrics while applying analytical thinking, trend analysis, forecasting, and data modelling to identify operational optimization opportunities and support AI and machine learning capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and rollout reporting solutions and dashboards using Looker, Tableau, and Looker ML to enhance network visibility
• Prepare, clean, and integrate large-scale datasets from multiple sources including GCP, SQL, and internal systems to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Develop and maintain KPI frameworks that link operational performance, cost, service, and customer outcomes across the logistics network
• Support predictive analytics, scenario modelling, and simulation tools to inform strategic and tactical decisions
• Analyse trends, patterns, and anomalies in logistics performance data to identify drivers of variation and improvement opportunities
• Contribute to governance processes for tool development, data quality, and version control while ensuring alignment with enterprise standards
• Help uplift analytical capability across the network through training, documentation, and user engagement
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and operations teams to ensure reporting solutions are aligned, scalable, and integrated

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Finance, Engineering, Business, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in analytics, tool development, or operations support within logistics, supply chain, or network environments
• Experience supporting performance reporting and/or incentive frameworks, ideally in a delivery or logistics context
• Proficiency in Tableau and Looker for data visualization and reporting
• Understanding of logistics operations, network planning, and key performance drivers
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with ability to work across technical and operational teams
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and vice versa
• Strong focus on data quality, governance, and reproducibility
• Familiarity with Python, R, or other analytics languages for dataset preparation and workflow automation
• Experience in Agile delivery environments using Jira, GitLab, and Confluence

Nice to haves

• Experience with Looker ML
• Qualifications or coursework in data science, statistics, operations research, or analytics
• Experience developing analytical tools, dashboards, and reporting solutions
• Familiarity with predictive analytics, optimisation, and machine learning concepts
