Real Estate Valuations/ Business Modeling Manager – EYP – Amman

Job Summary

This role involves managing valuation and business modeling activities within EY’s Valuation, Modelling and Economics practice, focusing on real estate corporate finance and strategic decision-making support.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on strategic planning, transaction, and non-transaction related decisions including market valuation and financial reporting.
• Work on commercial issues and support management during acquisition processes and transformation plans.
• Prepare business proposals and present real estate corporate finance services to potential clients to generate new business.
• Conduct feasibility studies and assess land and property values to guide client investment decisions.
• Develop complex financial models for various real estate asset classes such as residential, hospitality, retail, and commercial.
• Perform purchase price allocations and valuations for real estate businesses in the MENA region.
• Apply real estate accounting knowledge in valuations and financial assessments.
• Monitor real estate markets and asset classes across MENA including offices, residential units, shopping centers, and healthcare facilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or business with 6-8 years of relevant real estate corporate finance experience.
• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex projects independently.
• Experience managing client relationships and proactive reporting to senior leadership.
• Financial modeling expertise, preferably with real estate experience, including building models from scratch.
• Good knowledge of IFRS standards related to fair value measurement, business combinations, and impairment testing.
• Previous valuation experience in professional services or a Big 4 firm is preferred.
• Experience coaching junior and senior staff is advantageous.
• Proficiency in real estate financial modeling.
• Possession of CFA or equivalent internationally recognized qualifications such as RICS or CBV is a plus.
• Strong understanding of GCC market dynamics and business development skills are desirable.
