Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Summary

The Quality Assurance Engineer at DATAPATROL is responsible for designing, documenting, and executing tests to ensure the functionality, performance, and reliability of security-focused software products. This full-time remote role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and high-quality releases.

Responsibilities

• Conduct manual and automated testing activities.
• Develop and update test cases and test plans.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and system testing.
• Identify, document, and monitor software defects.
• Test client-server and agent-based software solutions.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Development, and Support teams.
• Support improvements in QA processes, test coverage, and automation.
• Participate in enhancing and strengthening the QA function.

Requirements

• Experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• Knowledge of test automation tools and methodologies.
• Experience with agent-based solutions is a strong plus.
• Good knowledge of SQL and database testing.
• Understanding of Windows servers and virtualization environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with enterprise software products is a plus.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity or endpoint management solutions is a plus.
• Interest in developing and maturing QA practices.
