Job Summary
The Quality Assurance Automation Engineer at Arabic.AI is responsible for creating and maintaining automated testing solutions to ensure product quality, reliability, and performance. The role emphasizes test automation, API validation, and integration with CI/CD pipelines to facilitate efficient software delivery.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and technical documents to guarantee automation test coverage
- Design and maintain automated UI test frameworks using Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium
- Identify and prioritize scenarios for automation
- Create automated API test cases for backend validation
- Run automated tests across various environments and report defects clearly
- Conduct automated regression testing for new releases and bug fixes
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with DevOps teams
- Participate in Agile/Scrum activities and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 1-4 years of experience in software quality assurance focusing on test automation
- Experience in API testing and automation
- Hands-on with UI test automation frameworks like Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium
- Intermediate programming skills in JavaScript, Python, Java, or equivalent
- Experience writing test plans and cases, and performing white-box and black-box testing
- Knowledge of manual testing techniques and defect tracking tools such as JIRA or HP ALM
- Understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, Agile/Scrum, DevOps, Git, and CI/CD fundamentals
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
- Fluent in spoken and written English and Arabic
