Job Summary
CFI Financial Group seeks a Python Odoo Developer to collaborate with team members in developing features and products for the online trading industry. The role involves designing solutions according to business requirements, writing technical specifications, and ensuring software quality and security standards.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to develop features and new products
- Develop solutions that meet specified business requirements
- Define and write technical specifications including appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards
- Demonstrate and present implementations to team leaders and CTO
- Implement unit and integration tests
- Ensure software meets requirements for quality, security, modifiability, and extensibility
- Participate in code reviews and identify refactoring opportunities
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- BSc in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 3+ years experience in software development and coding in Python
- Minimum 1 year experience with Odoo platform and projects
- Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture
- Technical mindset with strong attention to detail
- Understanding of software quality assurance principles
- Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes
- Experience with service-oriented architecture (SOA)
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience with version control and continuous integration tools such as Git and Jenkins
- Experience developing microservices and managing containerized applications
- Experience with Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm)
- Experience building websockets
- Understanding of web security standards and best practices
- PHP experience considered an advantage
- Some experience with RabbitMQ, Kafka or similar messaging systems
