Project Performance Engineer

Job Summary

Support project setup, financial tracking, and invoicing processes within an engineering consultancy environment. Manage project data, enforce process discipline, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate financial and operational performance across design and supervision projects.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage project-related data including project codes, financial records, and resource data, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality.
  • Support project invoicing, cost tracking, and collections in alignment with contract terms, liaising with Finance for proper revenue tracking.
  • Assist with project setup activities including project code creation, budget allocation, and tracking of contractual variations and amendments.
  • Generate and analyze reports on project performance, reconciliation, invoicing status, cost tracking, and operational KPIs for management review.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures while staying informed on relevant regulations.
  • Identify operational or project-related inefficiencies and support decision-making through data-driven analysis.
  • Assist with audit-related activities by preparing documentation, verifying records, and ensuring traceability of project and financial data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
  • 2–3 years of experience in operations, project coordination, engineering consultancy, or finance-related roles.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced consulting environment.
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including design, supervision, and finance.
  • Experience with project invoicing and cost control in engineering or consultancy environments.
  • Proficiency in Excel including pivot tables, lookups, and reconciliation.
  • Exposure to Oracle ERP Project Management (PPM/Projects) module for project setup, cost tracking, and invoicing support is an advantage.
  • Comfortable working within structured processes, deadlines, and controls.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Detail-oriented and able to perform under tight deadlines.
