Job Summary
Parsons seeks a Project Controls Data Analyst to integrate engineering, scope, budget, scheduling, procurement, construction, and start-up aspects of projects. The role involves managing subtasks of larger projects, ensuring technical excellence, and coordinating technical disciplines and construction planning.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI
- Automate recurring project controls reports and performance metrics
- Produce executive-level reports highlighting project status
- Develop standardized KPIs for program and portfolio reporting
- Analyze progress trends and support earned value management (EVM) reporting and analysis
- Transform complex datasets into actionable insights for project leadership
- Develop automated data extraction, transformation, and reporting solutions using Python and SQL
- Support digital transformation initiatives within Project Controls
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
- 3–7 years of experience in project controls, data analytics, business intelligence, or a related discipline
- Experience developing Power BI dashboards and managing project performance reporting
- Proficiency in Power BI, Microsoft Excel, SQL, and Python
- Experience with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
- Experience supporting large-scale construction, infrastructure, engineering, or capital projects is preferred
