Project Architect or civil Engineer

Job Summary

This full-time, on-site position in Amman involves managing project design, coordination, and execution from concept to construction for Al-Ma’bar For Contracting. The role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and ensuring compliance with codes and client needs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project design, coordination, and implementation throughout all phases.
• Prepare and review technical drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate project submittals and ensure compliance with local codes and client requirements.
• Collaborate daily with multidisciplinary teams and monitor project progress.
• Resolve design and site-related issues.
• Support the use of BIM and other digital tools.
• Engage with clients, contractors, and consultants.
• Assist in managing project schedules, budgets, quality assurance, and sustainable design practices.

Requirements

• Strong skills in architectural and engineering building design, documentation, and coordination.
• Experience managing project submittals including preparation, review, and tracking.
• Knowledge of project management activities such as planning, scheduling, resource coordination, risk management, and reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field; professional registration or licensure is advantageous.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and architectural drawings, local building codes, and technical standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with teamwork ability on-site.
• Preferred experience in construction site supervision, contractor coordination, and quality control.
• Proficiency in design and project tools like AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project or similar, with good English; Arabic is beneficial.
